CLEC began with a simple belief: independent live events deserve better than chat chaos. The lineup, the times, the agreement - the decisions that make a show real - should live where everyone can see them, not two hundred messages deep in a group chat.
For fourteen months, one founder and a team of AI agents built exactly that. Then came the hardest part: listening. The scene taught us that the idea was right, but the moment - and the shape - were not. So instead of pretending otherwise, we wrote everything down, thanked the people who talked to us, and dimmed the lights.
The idea is not gone. It rests - documented, honestly assessed, ready to be picked up when the moment is right and the shape is true. Come back and check on us from time to time. If the lights are on, the moment came.
Until then: go to a show. Support your local venue. Buy the band a drink. That was always the point.
